Tax Bracket Racing -- Super Pro 1965 Chevy Nova

Bought in 1987, this is the car that started it all: Frank Cicerale’s 1965 Chevy Nova. Bought in the late 1980’s, Frank raced the car first in trophy modified at Island Dragway before stepping up to Pro E.T.

The car was originally powered by a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet, but after a broken valve destroyed the motor, the engine was replaced with a John Gulius built 350 Chevy. Set up for Super Street, the car has run a best of 11.00 at 120 miles per hour.

Sidelined since 1989, the car will be seeing action on the dragstrip again soon.
